This study aims to evaluate the influence of cardiorespiration, self-efficacy, individual
social reactions, and emotional intelligence on the academic achievement of students at the
Musamus University Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program (PJKR) in
movement courses. The research method used is a quantitative approach with survey
methods and path analysis to examine the causal relationship between these variables. The
research population includes all registered PJKR students, and sampling was carried out
using a Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, which ensures that the sample is
representative according to predetermined criteria. The research instrument is a
questionnaire that has gone through validity and reliability tests. The validity test is carried
out by content analysis by relevant experts, to ensure the questionnaire reflects the concept
being measured, while the reliability test is carried out by internal reliability testing to
assess the consistency of the instrument. The results of the research show that there is a
significant influence of cardiorespiration, self-efficacy, individual social reactions, and
emotional intelligence on the academic achievement of PJKR students' movement courses.
Cardiorespiration has been proven to have a direct influence on emotional intelligence,
which then has an impact on increasing academic achievement. Individual self-efficacy and
social reactions also show a direct influence on emotional intelligence, which in turn
influences academic achievement significantly. This research also found a significant
indirect effect of cardiorespiratory, self-efficacy, and individual social reactions on
academic achievement through emotional intelligence. In other words, emotional
intelligence acts as an important mediator in the relationship between these variables and
academic achievement. These findings underscore the importance of emotional intelligence
in improving student academic achievement, as well as providing valuable insight into
efforts to improve academic achievement through strengthening psychological and
physiological factors. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding the
factors that influence the academic achievement of PJKR students, as well as offering
practical implications for the development of more holistic and integrative learning
programs, which include students' physical, psychological and social aspects.
